| The straw crimper features a 15" diameter roller which can be filled with liquid for additional weight. This allows the straw to be pressed down, creating better seed to soil contact. The 16" coulters (that are on 6" centers) crimp the straw firmly into the soil, approximately 1"-2" deep. This does not allow for wind and water erosion to move straw away from it's designated area. |
