Maximum width of spread
depends on the density of the material being spread.
The S3B will spread a wide
range of materials, seeds, fertilizers, granular herbicides and ice
melters. (Not Sand)
The spreader includes a
comprehensive spreading chart for various materials.
This spreader is easy to
clean and is mounted low for easy filling.
A heavy duty 42 inch flexible
shaft with a P.T.O. coupling powers the spinner.
The S3B comes standard with
3-point hitch mounting for category 1 tractors.
Brace rods are available for
drawbar mounting. The hopper is welded galvanized steel and includes a
hinged lid to keep material dry.
The frame of the spreader is
heavy duty steel that supports the hopper.
The S3B utilizes a vibrating
rate gate and a spinning agitator for constant material flow.
The hopper holds 3 bushels or
200 lbs. of most material.
The optional hopper extension
holds 2 additional bushels or 150 lbs. Lid available for hopper
extension.
