In case of an open gearbox the growing loss of lubricant results in a super-proportional increase in wear at the end of each servicing interval. Inside an enclosed oil-bath gearbox wear is kept at a negligible level - constantly! No maintenance on the rotor gears!

The gear box is mounted on the frame but not part of it . This ensures that the gearbox will transmit no load and the stress is reduced to a minimum. This ensures longer lifetime even from the very first day.
